When I sat down to begin this transcription I sat in front of my typewriter and readied the ink ribbon. In doing so my fingers were smudged with black ink. I wiped them on a side sheet of paper and began to type. When I took a break I saw my reflection in the mirror and noticed there was ink on my face from my fingers rubbing against my cheeks. I instantly thought about an indian warrior putting on his WARPAINT before battle, as it seemed I too was going to war, and I too was donned with WARPAINT.
